New Scoring: Instead of giving 2 points per man for winning the match with Net handicap, we are going to give One point for the Net score with handicap (Just like we’ve always done) BUT we’re also going to give One point to whoever wins the most holes for the match too. This will let people who had one blow up hole a chance to still win an extra point.
“Friendship Rules”.
- Move the ball 1 club length anywhere all the time, no closer to hole.
- This includes in/out of woods/water but ONLY if you find your ball.
- If you “might be” in the woods and water and could not locate then 1 stroke & FULL relief from hazard/woods
- If you are still in crappy conditions (mud, no grass) then check with opponent about moving it more (out of crap).
- Lost ball not in hazard no stroke as long as opponent agrees it didn’t go in hazard (leaf rule).
- No stroke free pull from ditches that normally don’t have water except in spring.
- Any putt within leather of putter is a gimme. After that it’s up to opponent.
- If in doubt, ask opponent before getting relief.
- Get a sub, if you don’t get a sub and you play against the other two on the other team you lose 2 points for ghost player and the team that you pay against gets the 2 points.
